Getting Ready

Getting ready was a lot of fun. We both had a room on the same floor of a hotel in Anaheim. Our wedding party did a great job keeping us from seeing each other before the First Look. Mia bounced back and forth between the two rooms. Thank you Becky for doing her hair and accessories 🙂 . This really was so much fun and special to share with our people.

First Look

The first look was super exciting. Could you tell I was nervous? Krysta looks happy to sneak up on me, lol. BTS (Behind the Scenes) Note: We had to have her go all the way around the helicopter on the tarmac while I rotated to not see her as they got her behind me for this organic real shot. After I saw her I knew it was going to be a great day no matter what. Then our wedding party joined us for some photoshoot fun!

Setup x Decor

I am so proud of Krysta. Her style, vision, and vibe is so beautiful. And although I may not get it at times, I loved seeing her in all the details of our wedding. We still have some of the decor in our house and it works perfectly. So vibrant. Hangar 21 was the perfect blank slate for the pops of color florist Lovestruck Blooms brought in. Even the cake and deserts provided by our good friends Kayla and Patrick matched the vibe. From finding candles and votives on OfferUp to getting potting help from bridesmaids and friends, this was a team effort for sure. Thank you to everyone who helped out and Erika from One Social Design for coordinating it all day of!

Ceremony

I was super nervous until I got up there. Then when Krysta joined me, I felt so comfortable. Like it was just me and her.

Family

The fam! We love you. Find digital versions of the photos you took with us using the album link below.

Grand Entrance

One of the perks of having your wedding at Hangar 21 was a helicopter grand entrance. TBH this venue wasn’t even our first choice. After venue searching fatigue Krysta said to me one night, how about we just do that one with the helicopter. I said, yeah I’m down. And that’s what got us here. Neither of us had flown in a helicopter before. Was I scared? A little. But after fighting to beat cancer, what’s life but to be lived? So we did it. We were so happy Mia was down to join us too. The ride was quite short, and they wouldn’t let me slide down a rope to the ground, but it was still quite a way to make a first impression as the Amos family.

Dinner & Dancing

Can you spot yourself? Not only in this photo, but from the speeches to the special dances. Cake cutting & bouquet toss. To those busting a move to Haley J Copello & her band. To the groups we got to chat with from Whittier to the South Bay and everywhere in between and afar, we truly enjoyed every moment you gave us that night.
